Terms of Service · Version 2026-04-21 · Effective from 2026-04-21
The agreement between LekkerJob and the trade businesses that use the platform. Governed by South African law.
Parties
These terms are a legally binding agreement between you (the "User", "you") and LekkerJob ("LekkerJob", "we", "us"), based in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.
The service
LekkerJob is a mobile-first job-management platform for trade businesses. It lets you capture job cards, take photos, collect signatures, track time against jobs, manage team members and generate VAT-compliant tax invoices in ZAR.
We may improve, change or discontinue features of the service at any time. Where a change materially reduces functionality on a paid plan we will give you reasonable notice.
Accounts and access
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.
- If you create an account on behalf of a business, you warrant that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.
Acceptable use
You may not use LekkerJob to:
- Break South African law, including POPIA, the Consumer Protection Act, or SARS tax law.
- Upload, store or transmit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that contains malware.
- Attempt to bypass security controls, access another business’s data, or probe the platform for vulnerabilities without our written permission.
- Resell, rent or sublicense the service, or use automated means to scrape data at a scale that degrades the service for others.
- Use the service to send unsolicited bulk communications in violation of POPIA or the CPA.
Your data and content
- You retain ownership of the business data, client records, photos, signatures and invoices you create in LekkerJob.
- You grant us a limited licence to host, store, transmit and display that content for the sole purpose of providing the service to you and the users you authorise.
- You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process the personal information of your clients and team members that you put into the platform.
- We process personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Plans, payment and refunds
- LekkerJob offers a free plan and paid monthly plans priced in ZAR. Current prices are shown on the Pricing page.
- Paid plans auto-renew monthly unless cancelled before the next renewal date.
- All fees are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
- Refunds for the current billing period are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support if you believe a refund is warranted.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice to active subscribers.
Warranties and disclaimers
LekkerJob is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Except to the extent that implied warranties cannot be excluded under South African law (including the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002), we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the service, including no warranty of uninterrupted availability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of invoices, VAT calculations, signatures and records you generate using LekkerJob. We provide tools; we do not provide accounting, tax or legal advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LekkerJob’s total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these terms is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or R1,000, whichever is greater.
Neither party is liable to the other for indirect, consequential or special damages, loss of profit, loss of business opportunity or loss of data that was not under that party’s sole control, even if informed of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.
Suspension and termination
- You can cancel your account at any time from the dashboard or by contacting support.
- We may suspend or terminate your account on reasonable notice if you breach these terms, if your payment fails after reminders, or if we are required to do so by law.
- On termination we will make your data available for export for a reasonable period (typically 30 days) before it is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The parties consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Magistrate’s Court or the High Court of South Africa in Cape Town for any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms.
Before commencing formal proceedings the parties will use reasonable efforts to resolve disputes in good faith through written correspondence with the Information Officer.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material we will notify you by email or inside the app at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
